Telehealth Coverage Notice

Insurance coverage for telehealth services may become more limited. Medicare now requires an in-office visit within 6 months before first telemedicine appointment, then annually thereafter. Patients may be responsible for uncovered visits (up to $235). We expect further changes through 2026. Please contact your insurance provider for current coverage details.

Most follow-up visits include both an E/M code (99214) and therapy add-on (90833). Insurance rates vary by carrier.

Appointment Reminders

Email, SMS, and voice reminders sent 3 days before appointment
Day-of reminder: 30 minutes before telemedicine, 60 minutes before in-office

We cannot guarantee reminders will be received. Upcoming appointments are listed in the patient portal. Please note your appointment times independently.

Requirements

Must be physically located in Texas during appointment
Video and audio capability required for insurance claims
No telemedicine appointments while driving
